Privacy policy.
This policy explains how Reverse Takeover — the operating name of Harbourview Listings Advisory Limited, Hong Kong — collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data in connection with this website and enquiries made through it. We handle personal data in accordance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Last updated 25 July 2026.
Who we are
Reverse Takeover is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. You can contact us at info@globalrto.com, or by post at Suite 2904, 29/F, The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central, Central, Hong Kong.
What data we collect
- Enquiry details. When you use our enquiry form we collect the information you provide — typically your name, company, home market, email address, and the content of your message.
- Server logs. Our hosting infrastructure automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of requests, for security and operational purposes.
- Analytics and cookies. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects usage data (such as pages viewed and general device information) to help us understand how the site is used.
We do not ask for special-category data, and we ask that you not include confidential deal materials or sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.
How the enquiry form works
Our contact form submits your details to a third-party processing endpoint at chcontactrequest.t2uclient3.com, which forwards the enquiry to us. To reduce spam and automated abuse, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set a cookie and perform a lightweight verification check when you submit. These providers process the data on our behalf as service providers.
Purposes and lawful basis
We use personal data to:
- respond to and manage your enquiry, and to correspond with you about a possible transaction;
- operate, secure, and maintain the website (including logging and anti-spam); and
- understand and improve how the website is used through analytics.
Where the GDPR applies, our lawful bases are: your consent (for analytics cookies); our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, running our business, and keeping the site secure; and, where relevant, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. Under the PDPO, we collect and use personal data for the purposes described above and directly related purposes.
How we share data
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with:
- Service providers who support the website and our operations (for example, hosting, the form-processing endpoint, Cloudflare Turnstile, and Google Analytics), acting on our instructions;
- Professional advisers on a transaction — such as US securities counsel, PCAOB-registered auditors, transfer agents, and broker-dealers — where this is necessary to progress a matter you have asked us to explore; and
- Authorities or others where we are required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
International transfers
We are based in Hong Kong, and our service providers may process data in other countries, including outside Hong Kong, the EEA, and the UK. Where personal data protected by the GDPR is transferred internationally, we rely on an appropriate transfer mechanism (such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses) or another lawful basis. By making an enquiry, you understand that your data may be processed on a cross-border basis as described here.
Retention
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and thereafter only as long as we have a legitimate business or legal reason to retain it, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Server logs and analytics data are retained for shorter, standard periods consistent with their purpose.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, including transport encryption for the website and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for two main purposes: analytics (Google Analytics) and anti-spam (Cloudflare Turnstile on the enquiry form). You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling analytics cookies will not prevent you from using the site, though disabling functional or anti-spam cookies may affect the enquiry form.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and (where the GDPR applies) request erasure, restriction, or portability, or object to certain processing. Under the PDPO you have rights of access and correction. To exercise any right, contact info@globalrto.com. Where the GDPR applies, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority; in Hong Kong, the relevant regulator is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its “last updated” date, will always be posted on this page.
